Bio

He was the son of John W. Dixon and his second wife, Mary Porters Foster, and married Lucy Ann Moore in Wayne County, Tennessee on Christmas Day of 1894. In 1900, they lived in Wayne County, Tennessee, where he worked as a blacksmith, moving to Oklahoma by 1910, residing that year in Canadian Township, working as a carpenter, and settling by 1920 in Antlers, Oklahoma, farming. Widowed in 1942, he passed away at St. Edwards Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
