MRS. ELIZABETH JAYNES, 60, of 408 Sixth Avenue, wife of Earl Jaynes, died Sunday evening at People's Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born April 17, 1909 in Mattoon, Illinois, and had lived in Richland County most of her life. She was a retired employee of the Mansfield Tire & Rubber Company and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Robert Jaynes of Mansfield and Steven Edmund Jaynes of the home; two granddaughters three brothers, Orman Sheeks of Ashland, Paul Leroy and Vernon D. Sheeks of Mansfield; her mother, Mrs. Stella Sheeks of Mansfield; and her step-mother, Mrs. Celia Sheeks of Ashland. The body is at the Wappner funeral home, where arrangements are incomplete.
