D: Plano, Tx. Buried: 04/04/05. Survived by wife of 60 yrs., Alma Ruth Burchfield. Owner of National Spray Painters in Dallas and enjoyed restoring old cars. -------------- Tommie Burchfield, age 81, passed away in Plano, TX on March 31, 2005. He was born on March 18, 1924 to Guy and Gracie Burchfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Alma Ruth Burchfield; son, Larry Burchfield and wife Ellen; grandchildren, Jennifer Elam and husband Aaron, Melissa Boynton and husband Nathan, Katherine Lewton and husband Aaron, and Elizabeth Burchfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen McAleer, parents, brothers and sisters. Tommie was the owner of National Spray Painters in Dallas and enjoyed restoring old cars. He was a longtime active member of the First Baptist Church of Plano. Tommie was a sweet and loving husband and a wonderful father. He was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ted Dickey Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Plano, on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Pilot Grove Cemetery, Pilot Grove, TX.
