Bio

A.W."Roe" McCallie was the third of four children born to William Theodore & Annie Mae Murray McCallie, Roe as he was known to family & friends was born west of Weleetka at Hobson Community, Okfuskee Co, Oklahoma., Roe married Nadine "Cricket" Cossey and to this marriage one child was born, Donald McCallie May 01, 1935 at Wekiwa Township, Tulsa County, Oklahoma., Sometime after Don was born the family moved to California and lived there for many years., Roe's brother Ray also lived in California. The family moved back to Oklahoma in later years and Roe & Cricket divorced. after a time Roe married Opal Lee and they lived in Stroud Oklahoma where they both died., Roe 1983 & Opal 2007, They had no children. I have many fond memories of Uncle Roe he was a wonderful person., God Bless Athal Woodroe McCallie.
