Bio
Fayola R. Waldrum, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in Ft. Worth, Texas. Visitatin will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Irving. The funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving, Texas. She was born in Pilot Point, Texas, to the late Sam Reynolds and Fannie Mae (Stiles) Reynolds. Fayola was a graduate of Pilot Point High School, a longtime prior resident of Irving until moving to Ft. Worth in 2001. She was a member of First Baptist Church Irving where she served as a librarian for many years and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Grand Prairie Chapter #219. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.J. Waldrum. She is survived by her sons, Jeff Waldrum and wife, Laura, of Irving, Texas, and Brian Waldrum and wife, Darla, of Ft. Worth; daughter, Karen Waldrum, of Bedford, Texas; grandchildren, Todd Waldrum, Michelle Waldrum, Shelby Brainerd, Malinda Garner, Allen Gahagan, and Kevin Johnson; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Reynolds, of Irving, Leon Reynolds and wife, Berthina, of Aubrey, and Sam Reynolds, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Sanger, Texas; sisters, Alta Harral and husband, Mike of Argyle, Texas, and Janet Brockett and husband, Odell, of Aubrey.
