Bio

Mrs. Miriam Roberts Gollotte - A native and longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Sunday April 30, 2012. Mrs. Gollotte was a graduate of Murphy High School and was a past officer and longtime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband had owned Roberts Shopping Center. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph R. Roberts and then in 1966 she married Gregory Gollotte, Sr. until his death. She was also preceded in death by her only daughter, Miriam JoAnn Roberts. She is survived by her son, Byron R. Roberts and his domestic partner of 43 years, Dennis Merrill of Stockton, CA. Memorials are requested to the Allen Memorial Home, 735 S. Washington Ave., Mobile, AL 36603. Private services to be held later. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneral home-mobile.com.
