Bio
John Witzkoski was born October 1, 1922 in Stoneham, Grimes County, Texas to Frank Toney Witzkoski and Annie Noski Witzkoski. He honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He retired from Nabisco after 41 years of service. John was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. He enjoyed tending to his cattle and working with his tractor. John also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 in Richmond, Texas. John is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie Witzkoski; son, Billy Joe Witzkoski; and sisters, Martha Wietrsyski, Verna Pavlock, Mary Scholwinski and Christine Janecka. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Evelyn Witzkoski; children, Margie Freed and husband, Larry of Rosenberg, Jimmy Witzkoski and wife, Judy of Needville, Helen Silhavy of Rosenberg, Mary Jane Sowa of Orchard, Stephen Witzkoski and wife, Stephanie of Wharton, Mark Witzkoski and wife, Terrie of Bandera, Gary Witzkoski and wife, DeAnna of Wallis, JoAnn Pavlock of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Dana L. Zaskoda & fiancé Chad McArthur of New Mexico, Kimberley Zaskoda of Georgia, Jeannette M.
