From the Dallas Morning News, March 2004 --- GRISSSOM ---- Gary Wayne, preceded in death by father Glen Grissom, grandfather, William E. Grissom, grandmother Clara Boyce; survived by wife of 20 years, Darla; daughter, Ashley Nicole Grissom, Allyson Paige Grissom; mother, Georgiann Grissom, sisters Gail Olson & family, Geannie Williams & Husband Darrell & Family. grandmother, Irene Grissom & numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives & many friends. He was a wonderful husband, father , son, uncle & friend. He loved life, hunting, fishing & cooking. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at the Free Will Baptist Church, 1415 W. Whetland Road, Duncanville, Pastor Frank Gregory officiating, Internment, Little Bethel Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Funeral home from 7:00-8:30 pm Tuesday.
