Bio

Daughter of Nelson Shelton and Elizabeth McDonald married in Washington County, Virginia Sarah and her husband were one of the first migrants to the Peter's Colony. The Fitzhughs came to Texas from Kentucky by way of Missouri and Arkansas and settled south of present day Melissa in 1845.
