Owner and operator of Advance Roofing Co. DeWayne Hastings of Pensacola, Florida, passed away in the early morning hours of September 26, 2013 at his personal residence. Dewayne was of the Baptist faith who loved God and family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Shirley (Gill) Hastings, who passed in 2012; his mother, Gladys (Williams) Hastings; father, Green B. Hastings; brothers, William D. Hastings, and Harley R. Hastings and sister, Yvonne (Hastings) Jackson. He is survived by his sister, Cheryl (Hastings) Gill; brother, Clifford E. Hastings and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, September 30, 2013 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be William Swartz, Waylon Gill, Sean Hastings, Woody Cushion, Elton Meadows, and Don Williams.
