Bio

Velma Lucille Hanson, 76, a cook, died Monday, June 16, 1997, at Ward County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with LeRoy Henson officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home. She was born in Trinidad, Colo. and was a long-time resident of Grandfalls. SURVIVORS: Sons, Bobby Walker of Daphine, Ala., Steve Walker of Eunice, N.M. and Leland Walker of Monahans; daughters, Claudine Rob inett of Denver City, Betty Sue Rowe of Canyon, Jo Ann Todd of White" house and Gloria Sprouse of Monahans; sister, Ethelene Pruett of Midland; 21 grandchildren; and 29 great- grandchildren.
