Bio
Fern died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Columbus Community Hospital. Fern Marie Stacy was born July 20, 1934 in Polk County, Nebraska to Lloyd and Kathryn (Hughes) Bernt. She attended District #18 School in Polk County and graduated from Kramer High School in 1951. Fern married Lawrence Bonk on October 20, 1951. She later married Vernon Stacy on November 7, 1986. Fern worked at Dale Electronics for 34 years where she spent her last 15 years there in the Advertising Department. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Stephen Ministry, Prayer Chain and was an assistant secretary in the church office. Fern was also a member of the Eagles Club. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, fishing, traveling, cooking, knitting and crocheting.
