Bio

Edward Kay Sigmon was born July 16, 1940 to Eldredge and Jessie Sigmon of Powell, Wyoming. Kay was raised in Lovell, Wyoming with his brother Larry and sister Sharon. They were raised on a farm outside of Lovell. He moved to Lovell when he was 8 years old. He went to school until the 9th grade. He then worked on a farm and then worked for the railroad until he was disabled. Kay lived life his way with family and friends. He married Anita Erickson, and lived outside Cowley until her death. He loved going to the mountains or just driving on country roads with his companion of ten years, Betty Sisk. He also enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Kay was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and niece. He is survived by his brother Larry (Sharon) Sigmon of Arma, Kansas and his sister Sharon Hallman of Lovell, Wyoming; daughter, Tammy Cheney of Oklahoma; grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. © Lovell Chronicle March 14, 2013
