Bio

BELLEVIEW -- Gordon T. Winskey, 71, a retired painter, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003. A native of Sylvania, Ga., he moved here in 1981. Mr. Winskey was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Jenny Winskey, Belleview; sons, Gregg Winskey, Marble Falls, Texas, and Lofton Winskey, Center Point, Texas; daughters, Ylanda Copeland, Carryville, Texas and Belinda Herman, Center Point; brothers, Donald Winskey, Frankston, Texas, and David Winskey, Fortvally, Ala.; sisters, Wanda Strickland and Novella Walker, both of Leesburg; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Florida Cremation Society, Ocala, provided information.
