Millie R. Haba, 88, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Millie was born in Scurry, Texas, to the late Jerry and Agnes (Bezdek) Svoboda. She attended school in Kleburg School District. On July 1, 1950, she married Johnny Haba and they made their home in Dallas, and then they moved to the farm in Ennis. Millie worked for Sears for several years. She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST and KJZT #16. She loved to dance, especially the Polka's, cook and garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny, in December of 2004; six brother; and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Jerry J. Haba and his wife, Yaru, and Frankie J. Haba and his wife, Joanna; five grandchildren; and sisters, Pauline Jones and Adell Vrzalik; other relatives and many friends. Ennis Daily News: 3/6/2013...X11
