Last name was also spelled; MORYS. Married to Anna Moswa. ------------------ Thanks to contributor #47466150 Death of Matt Morys -- The community was saddened Friday when the news spread that Matt Morys had passed away that morning at 7 o'clock. Mr. Morys was in poor health for a long time. He was 79 years old at the time of his death. He came to this country from Poland 48 years ago and farmed near Genoa. He leaves to mourn his aged wife, 11 children, and 60 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. The children are: Joe and Walter, of Genoa; John and Frank of Fullerton; Leo of Omaha; Mrs. Anton Pinkos of St. Edward; Mrs. John Brudney of Tarnov; Mrs. Anna Stopek and Mrs. Joe Czarnik, of Genoa, Mrs. Frank Opela of Sheridan; and Mrs. Jake Smolen of Spalding. Note: All locations are in Nebraska.
