Bio
Irene Habernal Pavlu, of Louise, passed away March 3, 2013 at the age of 92. She was born on March 22, 1920 to Frank and Bertha Stavinoha Habernal in El Campo, Texas. A beloved wife and mother, Irene loved her family and was a wonderful cook and seamstress. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, KJZT and St. Andrew's Altar Society. She is survived by her daughters Jeanette Stockton and husband John of Louise, Linda Jaksch and husband Ray Allen of El Campo, and Karen Gaas and husband Dan of Georgetown; grandchildren Kinnan Stockton and wife Susan, Kara Matthys and husband Wade, Todd Jaksch and wife Tiffany, Marty Jaksch, Kimberly O'Neal and husband Brian, Brian Gaas, Steve Gaas and wife Christine, and John Gaas; and great-grandchildren Savannah & David Stockton, Dylan Matthys, Tanner & Trevor Jaksch, Hudson O'Neal, Brandon & Blake O'Neal, Hailer Gaas, and Austin Tucker. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, brothers Frank and George Habernal and sister Margaret Orsak. Interment at St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kinnan Stockton, Todd Jaksch, Marty Jaksch, Brian Gaas, Steve Gaas, and John Gaas.
