Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Trimble, 62, who died at 6 a.m. Saturday, July 27, in Shamrock General Hospital, were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the First Baptist Church of Shamrock. Rev. Bill Rushing, pastor of the Samnorwood Baptist Church, officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Jim Scott, pastor of the Shamrock First Baptist Church. Burial was in Shamrock Cemetery under the direction of Richerson Funeral Home. Mrs. Trimble died from injuries suffered in a dune buggy accident. She was a passenger in a dune buggy driven by a friend, Dink McNelly of Shamrock, when the vehicle over turned on the Polly O'Neal Ranch (owned by her nephew) near Flat Top Mountain about six miles southwest of Shamrock. McNelly was treated and released. Mrs. Trimble was born in Wellington and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shamrock. She was married to Allen Trimble in 1933. He died in 1972. Mrs. Trimble had been a resident of Shamrock since her marriage. Pallbearers at the last rites were Durward Vinyard, Doris VInyard, Don Copeland, Bobby Edwards, David Lee Trimble, and Tommy Edwards. Survivors were a brother, Doc Dean of Wellington; four nephews and two nieces. Shamrock Texan August 1, 1974
