Bio
Mabel McKinney Davis, age 90, of Odessa, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews, Texas. She was born December 7, 1922 in Platter, Oklahoma. She married Carl Davis on December 28, 1938 in Platter, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Davis; one great grandchild; seven brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, Carl Davis and wife Barbara of Odessa, and Donald R. Davis of Odessa; daughters, Betty L. Beardslee of Crane, Texas, LoAnne Manion and husband Donnie of Early, Texas, and Twana McMurrian and husband Bob of Comanche, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with her grandson, Larry Davis officiating.
