BERTIE MARIE BUTLER Bertie Marie Butler, 63 of Paris passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2007 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday evening at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. She was born July 1, 1943 in Waco, Texas to James Pierce and Marie Snodgrass. She was a devoted wife, mother and a friend to all. She would do anything for her family and will be greatly missed. She married Johnie Butler, the love of her life, on May 6, 1959 in Waco, Texas. She is survived by her husband, children; Johnny Butler Jr., Bobby Butler, Elizabeth Butler, Ricky Butler and wife Cindy, Sandra Showalter and husband Charles, Johnny Butler III, seven grandchildren, brother; James Pierce Jr. and wife Jean, sisters; Jimmie McDade, Patsy Eaton and husband Tommy, Rhonda Fielding of McGregor and a special aunt; Fay Cathy and husband Jack. She was preceded in death by her daughter; Linda Butler, her parents James Pierce and Marie Snodgrass.
