Bio contribution from his youngest daughter Barbara Scott Kolb: William was born in Collin County, Mckinney, TX. William (an adventurer) and Nellie (from Washington state) were married in Juneau, Alaska in 1946. They later settled in Texas in 1949. He supported his family as a skilled barber. He and Nellie had two TX born daughters, Betty Jane in August 1949, and Barbara Anne in November 1950. William suddenly died from cardiac arrest at age 59 in Hempstead, Waller County,TX.
