Married Jan. 30, 1924 to Foster Richard Arnold. Children: Glenda Kay and Barbara Ann. ∼ Ernestine LeSuer Arnold, 96, of Coleman, died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Coleman County Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Voss Cemetery Pavilion. Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, 400 West Pecan, Coleman. The funeral procession will leave Stevens Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. She was born Ernestine LeSuer on June 27, 1915 in San Saba, the daughter of Mathew Madison LeSuer and Helen Ethel Cook LeSuer. She grew up and attended school in Valera. On January 30, 1934, she married Foster Arnold in Coleman. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of the Elm Street Church of Christ. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Ann McDonald of Abilene, Diane Elkin of Brownwood, Kay Sprinkles and husband, Robert, of Brownwood; eight grandchildren, Jerry McDonald of San Angelo, Vicki McDonald Arthur of Abilene, Sherry McDonald Cozart of Abilene, Shelby Hrcek of Duvall, Washington, Bobby Sprinkles of Fort Worth, Dee Sprinkles Stricker of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Russ Elkin of Wichita Falls, Maury Elkin of Austin; 22 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Foster and a granddaughter, Lori Kim Sprinkles in 1971. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
