Annette Krupala, 75, of Hallettsville, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013. She was born to Alice (Henkhaus) Kocian and Jerome Kocian in Shiner, Texas on February 12, 1938. She is a graduate of Hallettsville High School and Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville. Annette was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and a career grade school teacher. Over a period of thirty years, she taught in the San Antonio, Houston, and Conroe school districts (Delta Kappa Gamma), and was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association. She also co-owned Crickets Corner Antiques with her twin sister, Jeannette Jahn. Proceeded in death by: her parents, brother James Jean Kocian, and niece Sharon Gay Kocian. Entombment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
