Bio

At the time of her death, she was married to Robert C. Urbanovsky ∼ CRASH FATAL TO WOMAN NEAR HERE Mrs. Robert C. Urbanovsky, 34, of Route 4, Waco was fatally injured when her car slammed into a steel bridge railing about four miles east of Waco on State Highway 6 at 4:20 p.m. Sunday. A-1 Ambulance rushed her to Hillcrest Hospital. She died a few minutes after she got to the hospital. She was McClennan County's fifth traffic victim of 1959. Highway Patrolman W. F. Quinn said Mrs. Urbanovsky was alone in the car and was headed toward Waco when the car struck northeast railing of the first bridge west of Tehuacana Creek on State Highway 6. "The car hit the railing dead center," Quinn said, " A person couldn't have hit it more head on if they had tried." He said he found no skid marks at the scene. Justice of the Peace John Cabaniss returned an inquest verdict of accidental death. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Urbanovsky are being made at Wilkinson and Hatch Funeral Home in Waco. Mrs. Urbanovsky was born Myrtle Parrish in Waco Feb. 8, 1925. She was reared and educated in Waco, graduating from La Vega High School. She had been employed with the Waco office of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. for 12 years. Survivors include her husband Robert C. Urbanovsky; two small daughters, Patti Sue Urbanovsky and Linda Lou Urbanovsky; her mother, Mrs. Ida Parrish of Bellmead; two brothers, Bill Parrish of Lakeview and Robert Parrish of Bellmead; two sisters, Mrs. DeVoy Murphy and Mrs. Richard Van Dyek, both of Bellmead.
