Van Alstyne Leader 25 March 1982 Services for Raymond David Arrington, 74, of Van Alstyne were held Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery. He died on March 18 in Meadowbrook Nursing Home. Mr. Arrington was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Mose Arrington, and married Jimmie Ireland on Sept. 9, 1942, in Sherman. He was a retired maintenance worker for Grayson-Collin Electric Co-op and was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving is his wife of Van Alstyne; stepson, Jack Joseph Ireland of Van Alstyne; brother, Jack Arrington of Van Alstyne; sister, Mrs. Lester Huddleston of Dallas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
