Bio

Marvin Dan Slaton, 66, of Athens, AL, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mr. Slaton was born March 5, 1946 in Limestone County, AL. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Faye Slaton and a sister, Kathy Stoner. Survivors include a brother, David Mike Slaton; sisters, Mauvoline Davis, Mary Thompson, Ann Woods, Shirley Mayes; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Mark Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
