Smith Sr. Funeral Services Held at Bedias Funeral services for Edwin A. Smith Sr. were held at Bedias, Texas, January 2. Mr. Smith died December 31 at his home at Sugarland. Interment was in a Bedias cemetery. Mr. Smith, father of Edwin A. Smith Jr. and James F. Smith of Memphis, was born May 15, 1886, in Bedias. He is survived by his wife; five sons, L.L. Smith of Genoa, Texas, W.W. Smith of Cass county, Morris Smith of Houston, Edwin A. Smith Jr. and James F. Smith of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Roy McWhorter of Bedias, and Mrs. Baron H. Smith of Enid, Okla.; his father, Frank Smith of Bedias; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
