Bio
Son of Ernest & Louise (Winkelman) Oppliger. He served in the US Army Air Corp as a Staff Sgt. from 1942-1946 during World War II. He married Edna Homan on April 5, 1948 in Bellwood, Nebraska. Edward farmed south of Columbus. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbus and Hartman Post #84 American Legion. He enjoyed bowling, travel & playing cards.
