Bio

Grandmother of Donald Joe Thrasher Alletta Fleming died at Memorial Hospital in Guymon May 30. She was born at Tehuacane, Tex. Jan. 5, 1892. She married Adrien Clovis Fleming at Texhoma June 4, 1911. He preceded her in death in 1962. She came to the Texhoma area with her parents in 1904 from Limestone County Texas. They homesteaded northwest of Texhoma. She lived on the family farm for 66 years. She moved into Texhoma in October 1977. Survivors include one daughter, Nellie Mae Thrasher of Texhoma; one son, Arval Fleming of Texhoma; five grandchildren; 16 great - grandchildren; and two great - great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. June 1 from the Church of God in Texhoma with Carter Prime officiating. Burial will be in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of the Dawson - Welch Funeral Home of Texhoma. GUYMON DAILY HERALD Tuesday , May 31th, 1988 cemetery lot bought by Alletta Fleming
