Robert L . Self Passed Away in Hospital Robert Lee Self Sr., 79, of 616 Hunt Street died Sunday afternoon in Collin Memorial hospital. He was born July 24, 1886, in Tennessee, the son of Elija and Emma Melton Self. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are three sons: Lewis A. and R. L. Self Jr., of McKinney; Carl Robert Self of Dumas; four daughters, Mrs. Otto Carter, Mrs. Grady F Carter, Mrs. Ollie Lee Branch all of McKinney and Mrs. W. W. Christian of Garland; three brother, Lawrence, Clarence and Ed Self of McKinney; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Love of McKinney; Mrs. Lora Lane of Dallas; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Crouch-Moore Chapel, Rev. D. A. Griggs officiating, assisted by Rev. Billy Joe Self, with burial in Ridgeview Memorial Park.
