Betty Jean Colleps, age 75, died Saturday, March 27, 2004 at her home. She was born March 6, 1929 in Midlothian, Texas to Earl R. and Georgia L. Cobble Hollabaugh. Betty started abstracting at age 13 after school and has worked for Ellis County Title and Abstract for the last 19 years. Betty was a member of Ferris Avenue Baptist Church of Waxahachie, Texas. She was survived by her daughter, Deborah Josey and husband C.J. of Palmer, Texas;Two sons: Tim Colleps and wife, Sharon, of Waxahachie and Michael Sean Colleps of Dallas, Texas; Two sisters: Isobel Farrar and husband, Warren, of Farmers Branch, Texas, Dorothy Bearden and husband George of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Raymond Hollabaugh and wife, Glenda, of San Angelo, Texas; Grandchildren, Cristi Ballard and husband, Fred, Aaron Josey and wife, Kelli, Timothy Josey and wife, Lesli, Jeremy Josey and wife, Margaret. Great grandchildren: Justin and Daniel Ballard, Brittani Ballard, Dylan Josey, Tiffany Josey and Kaylin Arnold and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
