Bio

Morton, James B. He was born Jan 29, 1833, he died Dec 17, 1915. Parents are supposed to be John Morton and Isabell/Isabella? (do not know maiden name); Isabell died 24 March 1861. He enlisted Mar-1862 Gye Springs AL as a private in Company D, 5th Alabama Regiment. He is buried in the Ballard School House Cemetery Fayette County.
