Grissom William "Ed", 82, Dallas, Tx. passed away January 7, 1997 at his residence.He was born February 4, 1914 to William Andrew And Beulah Monk Grissom in Italy, Tx. and married Irene Holiman December 28, 1931 in Durant, Ok. He was a truck driver for the Monk Bros Lithographic Company for 27 years, Church of Christ faith and a member of the Dallas Litho Club. He is survived by wife Irene Grissom of Dallas; son, Larry Grissom of Greenville; daughter Mrs. Joe (Eddie) Lilly of Dallas; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Grissom of Dallas; sisters, Velma Wallace, Jewel Clay, both of Garland; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by son, Glen Grissom; sister, Loraine Davidson and Esther Hinton. Services will be at 12:00 Noon, Friday January 10, 1997 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Bill White officiating. Internment will be in the Pecan Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
