Francis Modean Walden, age 81, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. Modean was born on May 3, 1916, in Hillsboro, TX. Modean moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1947 from Clovis, NM. Modean had married Emery Elva Walden on February 29, 1944, in Portales, NM. Modean was a member of Blake Road Baptist Church in Albuquerque. Modean is survived by her husband, Elva, one daughter, Donna Walden of Albuquerque, NM, one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Dianne Walden of Los Lunas, NM, one sister, Betty Beaver of Clovis, NM, two brothers, Calvin Reid of Clovis, NM and Bill Reid of Kansas City, KS and one grandson, Robby Walden of Los Lunas, NM. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis, NM. Dr. Herbert Bergstrom will officiate. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Clovis, NM. Casket bearers will be Dennis Reid, Nolan Beaver, Ronnie Scott, Paul McKee, Tom Cress, Buddy Mullinax, Jerry Stevens and Cory Adair.
