Funeral services for Clara L. Moore, 92, were held Friday, January 24 at Brockhaus Funeral Home in Creighton with Rev. Olin Belt officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Creighton. Pallbearers were Richard Porter, Rian Braun, Craig Braun, James Stacken, Chad Yeager and David Farr. Clara Lois Moore, daughter of Clarence E. and Nellie (French) Bennett, was born July 23, 1899 on the family farm near Creighton. She died January 20, 1992 at Lundberg Memorial Hospital in Creighton. She graduated from high school at Nebraska Central Academy in Central City and attended college at Nebraska Wesleyan graduating in 1924. She married Craig Bryan Moore on February 6, 1924. They farmed near Central City prior to moving the family farm east of Creighton in 1935, where she lived until her recent illness. She was a member of the Kensington Neighbor Club and was active in Knox County Extension Club. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Farr of Creighton; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one step sister, one step brother and one granddaughter. ...The Creighton News 29 Jan 1992
