Bio

VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Faye Gouard, 76-year-old San Antonio homemaker and formerly of Van Alstyne, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Flesher Funeral Chapel. She died Sunday at Wilford Hall Hospital at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Gouard was born in Sherman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reynolds. In 1936, she married Tom Gouard. She was a Baptist. Surviving is her son, James T. Gouard Jr. of Howe; sister, Mary Williams of Grand Prairie; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today, and other times at the James Gouard residence in Howe. Contributor: Lee D. (49901212)
