Delmar Charles Augustine, 70, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away on February 11, 2005. He was born August 5, 1934 to Minnie (Seberger) and Edmund Augustine at their farm home north of Osceola, Nebraska. He attended grade school in District 13 and graduated from Osceola High School in 1952. He served two years in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955. He was united in marriage to Dixie Walgreen on July 7, 1956. To this union were born four children: Douglas, Vicki, Shari and David. Delmar farmed the first years of their marriage and later was employed at Augustine Brother's Ranch and Moorman Manufacturing in Columbus, Nebraska. In 1984 Delmar and Dixie moved to California where he was employed by Monier Roof Tile. After retiring in 1994 they moved to Mesa, Arizona. In 1998, Delmar and Dixie moved back to California and in 2000 returned to Arizona. Delmar enjoyed a good game of pool, playing cards, travelling and spending time with all of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Dixie, son Douglas (Mary) of South Sioux City, Nebraska, daughter Vicki (John Willis of Apex, North Carolina, daughter Shari (David) Schleif of Buckley, Washington, son David (Chavala) of Battle Creek, Michigan and ten grandchildren: Michelle, Eric and Holly Augustine, William and Daniel Willis, Matthew and Justin Dubas, nathan Turner, Saydi and Reagan Augustine, and one great-granddaughter Maci Dubas. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
