Services for Charles E. Rudd, 69, of Slaton will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy McKee, pastor, officiating. The Rev. Wade Copeland will assist. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under direction of Englunds Funeral Service. Rudd died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in University Medical Center. He was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Southland. He attended Wilson schools. He married Nelda Mock on Sept. 24, 1949, in Lubbock. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He farmed until 1958. He worked for Eagle Picher Manufacturing from 1965 until retiring in 1990.
