Their suggestion: ------------------------- Please add this to Gerhard Baerg's page. From the Cottonwood County death record (Book D, p 17, line 1): ** The index says 1910 , but the record says 1916. The stone says 1910 so that is correct. Gerhard Baerg male, white, married DOB: February 26, 1839 BP: Russia DOD: December 15, 1916 [sic:1910]- age 71 years, 9 months, and 11 days Father: Gerhard Baerg BP: Russia Mother: Agatha Walde BP: Russia occupation, farmer informant: Peter G. Baerg, Mountain Lake residence: Mountain Lake This is from the handwritten note on one of the pages in the handwritten "record of our great grandparents" from my Great-Grandma Helena (Lena) Wiens Anderson Long. Gerhard Baerg DOB: Feb 14, 1839 DOD: Dec. 15, 1910 **There is mention earlier about the Russian calendar not being the same and that birth dates were adjusted at some point while residing in the US.
