Bio

Dale Kirkhart Dale Watson Kirkhart passed away Friday, August 13, 2004, with his children by his side in his home in Caldwell at the age of 79. Dale was born Dec. 16, 1924, to Carl and Carla Kirkhart in Gate, Oklahoma. He came to Idaho with his family in 1939, married Darlene Eads in 1942 and they were later divorced in 1964. Dale served in the U.S. Air Force in the Air Transport Command in the China, Burma and India Division in World War II. After being honorably discharged in 1946 he learned the carpentry trade and went to work for The Crookham Company in 1951, where he remained until he retired in 1986. Dale married Shirley Lou Stockton in 1975. Shirley passed away in 1983. Dale is survived by his brothers and their spouses. Wayne & Elizabeth Kirkhart, Caldwell, Idaho, and Veryl Kirkhart, Middleton, Idaho, and preceded in death by his four sisters, Velma, Veda, Vera and Cleo. Dale is survived by his children and their spouses, Linda and Tom Richmond of Hailey, Idaho, Shirley and Doug Freeman of Meridian, Idaho, and Monte and Cheryl Kirkhart of Caldwell, Idaho, and his stepchildren and their spouses Lynette Miller, Elkland Missouri, Chuck and Judy Stockton, Elkland, Missouri, Cindy and Bob Barcomb, Nixa, Missouri, Terri and Dan Kelley, Caldwell, Idaho, and Larry and Andrea Stockton, Meridian, Idaho; 19 grandchildren a 6 great grandchildren.
