Bio

She was a daughter of a semi-famous minister named Asbury Cartwright (1809-1891) and his wife Louraney Huddleston. Louise was born on March 30, 1840, Jefferson City, Cole County, Missouri. She was married to Golden Bransford "Brance" Bennett, a son of my gr, gr, gr, great grandparents, William T. Bennett and Jane Vanatta. They, Golden and Louise, had only one child - who died at birth. Louise also died as a result of this childbirth. Her husband never remarried and lived the next 46 years of his life as a widower.
