Bio

Son of Wendel and Catharine Reiss. Christian Seybert enlisted at Fort Chiswell, Virginia in 1779, under Cpt. Isaac Taylor, Col. Montgomery's Reg. Also accompanied the Clark expedition to Illinois, but did not serve three years, there was denied land grant application. Received pension from July 1833 to death and last payment was made to Lancaster, Denby and Co. Sep 1838.
