McVicker, 72, of Homer, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday August 23 at the Homer Church of Christ. Don Tate and Nels Thompson will officiate. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer. Mrs. McVicker died Sunday August 21, 1988, at her residence after a short illness. She was a member of the Homer Church of Christ and the China Dolls. She is survived by her husband, Dolph McVicker of Homer; two daughters, Kathy McVicker of Denver, Colo. and Patricia M. Henshaw of Brownsville, Texas; one sister, Margie Chelene of Moscow, Texas; two brothers, Joe Harvey Nance of Houston, Texas and Robert L. Nance of Placido, Texas; two grandchildren, Tanna Henshaw and James S. Henshaw, both of Brownsville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bob Tippett, Bobby Simpson, Nolan Watson, Bubba McClung, Dale Grider and Ken Bailey. Memorials may be made to the Homer Church of Christ building fund or donor's choice.
