LINCOLN - Jeffrey Lynn Kawata, 62, of Broken Bow died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Bryan Medical Center in Lincoln. Services were today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Broken Bow with the Rev. Jim Hunt officiating. Burial was at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow is in charge of arrangements. He was born Dec. 31, 1950, in Ord to Jiro and Dolores (Hurlbert) Kawata. On June 18, 1977, he married Ann Burke. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Jennifer Muzquiz of Tucson, Ariz., and Kathleen Gaddis of Warner Robbins, Ga.; brother, David of Greeley, Colo.; sister, Cathy Christensen of Grand Island; and two grandchildren..
