Son of Mathew D. Dean & Elizabeth Raines. ~~~~ JOSEPH MATTHEW DEAN Joseph Matthew Dean, 89, of Celina, died Jan 17 in the Sun Dial Nursing Home in Pilot Point. He was born Jan. 14, 1883 in Collin County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Dean. A retired farmer, he is survived by four sons, William Dean of Denton, Judge Dean of Pottsboro, Johnny Dean of Houston, Coleman Curry of McKinney; four daughters, Mrs. Leslie Tucker of Celina, Mrs. Mozell Jones of Frisco, Mrs. Betty Stone of Carrollton, Mrs. Lear Von Strickland of Frisco, one brother, Newt Dean of Fruitvale, 29 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Celina Baptist Church with interment in Princeton Cemetery, Scott Funeral Home of Celina in charge.
