US Army Veteran - 1951/1955 The Daily Telegram , February 27, 1969 JAWORSKI-- Milton Jaworski dies in Omaha; funeral Saturday A former Tarnov resident, Milton L. Jaworski, 39, died Wednesday in the Veterans hospital in Omaha after a long illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bridget Catholic church in Omaha, with burial in St. John cemetery. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Staskiewicz mortuary in Omaha. The son of Andrew and Della Jaworski, he was born Feb. 4, 1930 at Tarnov and spent his early life there. He attended St. Michael grade school in Tarnov and was graduated from St. Francis High school in Humphrey. He spent four years in the Army, 1951 to 1955, serving with the 776 CIC in Europe. In Omaha he was employed by Wilson's and was leader of a small band, the Polannaires. Mr. Jaworski was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles and the Pulaski club. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Della Jaworski of Columbus; five sisters, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Spevak of Omaha, Mrs. W.L. (Edna) Boettcher of Columbus, Mrs. E.R. (Angeline) Fagan of Council Bluffs, Mrs. R.W.(Anita) Raybould of Lincoln, Mrs. Keith (Ernestine) Baldwin of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; six brothers, Ernest of Columbus, Elmer and Allen of Omaha, Ray, Andrew Jr., and Norman of Tarnov. His father died in 1962.
