Bio
Bill was the s/o Joe Oliver and Bernice (Thurman) Ketner. He grew up in Commerce Texas and at the age of 17, enlisted in the United States Navy where he served from 1944 until 1946. After his honorable discharge, Bill returned to Texas and completed his high school graduation. He worked as a phone technician for Southwesteren Bell from 1950 until his retirement in 1984. Bill was a member of the Chandler, Texas Masonic Lodge #993, member of the Scottish Rite and had reached the highest level in Masonary, that of the 33rd degree.
