Crawford County Democrat DEATH JOSEPH E. KEMP Joseph E. Kemp, 64 of West Fork, died Thursday Jan. 10, at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Crawford County and a retired laborer, He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Kemp and a sister, Vienie Kemp and a daughter, Ellen Irene. Survivors include his wife, the former Myrtle Knight; a daughter , Kathryn Satterfield of Marengo, four sons, Earl and Carl Kemp, both from Jasper, Arthur Kemp of Ferdinand and Charles Kemp of West Fork; a sister Mrs. Stella Rustin of Fredonia, Ky., two brothers Ivan Kemp of Marion and Sherman Kemp of New Albany; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral was held on Sunday, Jan., 13 at Denbo Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
