Guy Pinkert, 65, of Logan, died Friday, July 1, 2005, at his home. He was born in Clive and lived in eastern New Mexico most of his life. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a machinist for more than 15 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gwen Burns; and a brother Edd Pinkert Jr. Suvivors include a daughter, Laurie (and husband, Ron) Bradburn of Amarillo; a son, Stephan Pinkert of Portales; a sister, Mary Jo Connally of Van Horn, Texas; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rogers Point at Ute Lake in Logan. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home of Amarillo, Texas.
