Bio
Daniel E. January, 73, of Wichita Falls, left us Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family and pictures of his loving grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Daniel was born February 6, 1939 to Curtis Carroll and Ola Mae Hall January. He was a graduate of Wichita Falls High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Army having toured Germany. After returning home from the military, he married Martha Ann Arredondo. Dan was a strong man that loved his family, and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Martha January; his two children, Johnny Ray "John" January, and Dana Ann January Pollan; seven grandchildren, and Katie and Abby; two sisters, Peggy Schusteff, and Wanda Barncastle; and many "extraordinary" nieces and nephews. A family service followed by a visitation will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
